How does Apollo's Verdict work?

When you mark a habit done and submit proof (a photo), the image is sent securely to Apollo's AI. Apollo analyzes whether the photo shows genuine evidence of the habit being completed.

He can return three rulings: Genuine (you did it, XP awarded), Thin (effort shown but weak — partial XP), or Not Yet Proof (rejected — submit real evidence). The goal is to be a witness that can't be fooled.

Is my proof photo stored on your servers?

No. Your proof photo is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude AI for judgment. Once the verdict is returned, the photo is not retained on our server.

What if I think Apollo's judgment is wrong?

Apollo is an AI and can be wrong. If you get a rejection you believe is unfair, you can retry with a clearer, more direct photo that shows the specific action (not just the setting). For example: for a workout, show the weights in your hands mid-rep, not the gym entrance.

If you continue to have issues with a specific habit category, email us — we tune the judgment prompts based on user feedback.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Adamant subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel:

  1. Open iPhone Settings
  2. Tap your name at the top (Apple ID)
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Tap Adamant
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for unused time — to avoid any charge, cancel before your free trial ends.

How does the 3-day free trial work?

When you start the trial, you get full access to every feature of Adamant for 3 days at no charge. No payment method is required until you choose a plan.

If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. If you don't cancel, your chosen plan (monthly or yearly) begins automatically after 3 days.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

If you've reinstalled the app or switched devices, tap Restore Purchase on the paywall screen. This reconnects your App Store subscription. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to originally subscribe.

What happens to my data if I delete the app?

Deleting Adamant removes all locally stored data from your device — habits, streaks, XP, voice recordings, and progress. This data is not backed up to our servers, so it cannot be recovered after deletion unless you have an iPhone backup (iCloud or local) that includes the app data.

Can I use Adamant without submitting proof photos?

Yes — some habit categories (like Soul habits such as prayer or gratitude) allow optional or text-only proof. However, the core Apollo's Verdict feature works best with photo evidence. Habits without photo proof receive a basic completion without the full AI judgment.

The app isn't working correctly. What should I do?

Try these steps in order:

  1. Force-quit and reopen Adamant
  2. Check your internet connection (Apollo's Verdict requires internet)
  3. Restart your iPhone
  4. Check for an app update in the App Store
